Bab Boujloud

It is the main access that allows to discover the medina of Fes. Huge and decorated with blue and green tiles, this giant door is made of cedar wood and carved stucco. This is the cut point where the minarets of the Bouinania madrasa and the mosque Sidi lazaz. It overlooks the neighborhood of the same name (Ward Boujloud). You can visit the famous Dar Batha Museum, which contains the rich history of the medina of Fes. You'll discover the arts and traditions of a millennium city which has preserved its authenticity over the centuries. Before addressing the busy streets of the medina, throw u look at the collector of water situated directly next to Bab Boujloud. It was once used to recover water to redistribute throughout the medina of Fes.
