Founded by Abu Said Othman Marinid between 1323 and 1325, the Madrasa Attarine inherits its name from the same area where it is: Attraine district (literally the spice merchants). This monument is a real treasure of the Arab-Muslim world. It is a place to recommend to visitors looking to experience the authentic architecture of the Eastern civilization. Just walking the light along the walls and ceilings to see that everything was set up tee with refinement. The decorations are beautiful geometric forms breathtaking. Calligraphy and noble materials such as: Arabesque, Zellige, cedarwood ... to make the building a true jewel of the Arab-Muslim architecture. The hallway of the madrassah overlooking a quadrangle bounded by two lateral galleries. Basically, we found access to the chapel through an ancient door. Access to the floor and latrines is done through two small doors located directly on the entrance corridor.
