La cohabitation pacifique, de l'islam, du judaïsme et du christianisme a créé une société dynamique et diversifiée en Andalousie durant une période connue comme « L' âge d'or » qui faisait l'envie du monde.

Cette histoire sert de rappel de ce qui peut être réalisé lorsque des personnes de confessions différentes se réunissent dans un esprit de tolérance et de compréhension.

Cette cohabitation pacifique, de l'islam, du judaïsme et du christianisme perdure au Royaume du Maroc et Fès en est un exemple édifiant. Les habitants de cette ville ont appris à embrasser et à respecter les croyances, les traditions et les coutumes des autres. Ils ont montré que la coexistence pacifique est possible et que les échanges culturels peuvent enrichir nos vies.

« Fès n'est-elle pas la capitale spirituelle d'un Royaume millénaire ? Son Université Al Quaraouiyine ne constitue-t-elle pas le foyer universitaire le plus ancien du monde – le lieu où savants musulmans, juifs et même un souverain pontife parachevèrent leur savoir ».

Le Festival de Fès des Musiques Sacrées du Monde est un moment privilégié de cet esprit de vivre ensemble, de dialogue et de tolérance.

L'Espagne étant à l'honneur, cette vingt septième édition célébrera les liens historiques et présent qui unissent l'Espagne et le Maroc. Plusieurs artistes des deux pays exprimeront à travers leurs fusions et leurs spectacles cette dimension particulière d'ouverture, d'harmonie et de vivre ensemble pour un futur meilleur.

D'autres artistes en provenance de différents pays Ouzbékistan, Inde, Etats-Unis, Italie, Bulgarie, Israël, Tunisie, Turquie, Égypte, Irlande…animeront de manière exceptionnelle cette vingt septième édition.

Fès, sa médina millénaire et unique, s'apprête à vous accueillir avec son hospitalité si légendaire.

La cinquième corde, celle aux origines historiques mystérieuses, celle que le légendaire Zyrîab ajoutera au oud se révèle, d'une certaine manière, le symbole du chainon manquant : celui de l'éther, de l'âme du cosmos. La musique des sphères et des planètes imaginée par Pythagore (VI° s. av. J.C) sera une source d'inspiration plus tard pour les grands savants arabes comme Al Kindî (IX° siècle) ou Al-Fârâbî (X° s.).

L'Andalousie, peut-être plus encore que le symbole d'une civilisation basée sur la rencontre des trois religions monothéistes, est à travers le personnage de Zyriâb, l'expression d'une circulation entre Orient et Occident. Il y'a d'abord l'axe Bagdad – Cordoue qui, sur fond d'antagonisme entre dynasties abbasside et omeyyade, génèrera l'éclosion d'un raffinement exceptionnel. Puis, une culture hispano-arabe verra le jour.  La pratique de récital dit « sawt » instaurée par Zyriâb, se prolongera dans l'art de la nûbat, des cantigas, de la jota, des chants ladinos et malgré les réserves de certains musicologues, du flamenco.

Cette idée d'une Andalousie harmonieuse, où la beauté de la nature, des étoiles, nourrie par le savoir des Anciens et de l'ancienne poésie bédouine, où les textes sacrés de la Torah, de la Bible et du Coran se côtoyaient, est le dernier refuge d'une vision de l'existence face, entre autres, aux enjeux écologiques de notre époque

Le programme proposé pour cette nouvelle édition s'inscrit dans cette diversité culturelle que défend depuis 26 ans ce festival.  Chaque concert proposé sera une invitation à accoster sur les rives de l'émotion, de la connaissance et peut-être pour certains, qui sait, de l'extase, comme autrefois où chaque rive appelait l'autre, constamment, nécessairement, depuis la Haute Antiquité.

Several Moroccan cities are enthroned in Tripadvisor Traveler's Choice (TTC) 2023. At their head, the imperial city of Fez, which is classified as the "best cultural destination in the world".

A BUDGET OF 6.1 MILLION DIRHAMS TO REVIVE LAKE DAYET AOUA, DRY SINCE 2018

Lake Dayet Aoua, dry since 2018, will be restored. The cost of the first rehabilitation phase is estimated at 6.1 million dirhams. This is what is provided for in the 2023-2024 framework partnership agreement signed this Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the headquarters of the province of Ifrane.

Dry since the end of 2018, Dayet Aoua is historically considered one of the most famous and visited lakes in Morocco and one of the precious mountainous wetlands with remarkable and varied habitats.

In a pioneering dynamic at the national level, based on a participatory and integrated approach to the conservation of water resources and natural wetlands, a framework partnership agreement for the restoration of Lake Dayet Aoua was signed on December 27, 2022 at the headquarters. of the province of Ifrane.

This ecological restoration project, which is part of the Sebou Water Fund program, involves several stakeholders, namely the province of Ifrane, the municipality of Dayet Aoua, the Hydraulic Basin Agency of Sebou, the regional directorate of the National Agency for Water and Forests, the Fez-Meknes region, the provincial directorate of agriculture in Ifrane and the organization Living Planet Morocco.

The Bou Inania medersa
